Community  Opportunities Inc.(COI) is a non-profit agency founded in October 1997 whose purpose is to provide life opportunities for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.  The COI professional staff, families and advocates, and local business partners achieve this mission by providing skills training, job placement and social activities. Community Opportunities, Inc offers these services to enhance lives, facilitate independence and encourage community involvement and awareness.

COI is a sister company to Community Living Concepts, Inc (CLC) which provides residential and other living options for many of the individuals served at COI.

Our mascot, Bud E. Bee is a symbol to those we serve.  To look at the bee you think how can such a thing fly.  It's wings are too small for it's body.  Well, no one seems to have told the bee he couldn't fly; he just does.  Our philosophy is the same for the people we serve...we don't set limits...we let them FLY!

The Bud E. Bee BooRun was developed to help promote awareness of our organization and provide funds to support the many activities and programs we provide to the people we serve, such as  trips to participate in Special Olympics, supported employment, computer training, and so much more.
